Tatia's Bio
Tatia Jibladze was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 2009 she graduated Tbilisi state conservatoire with Master degrees. Same year she joined the Accademia d’Arte Lirica di Osimo in Italy, which she finished in 2014 with honorable mention.
Already during her studies first in Georgia and then in Italy, Tatia started to collaborate with some important opera houses and opera companies, always with excellent feedback from both critics and public.
Among other roles, she is particularly appreciated as Cassandre in Les Troyens by H.Berlioz, as Waltraute and 1°Norn in Götterdämmerung, as Erda in Rheingold/Siegfried and as Floßhilde in Rheingold und Götterdämmerung by R.Wagner, as Carmen in Carmen by G.Bizet, as Nerone in L’incoronazione di Poppea by C.Monteverdi, as Ulrica in Un ballo in maschera by G.Verdi, as Lubasha in The Tsar’s Bride by N.Rimsky-Korsakov, as Elsa von Stahl in Falscher Verrat by M.Tutino, as Hansel in Hansel und Gretel by E.Humperdink, as Marchesa Melibea in Viaggio a Reims and as Hedwige in Guillaume Tell By G.Rossini, as Orpheus in Orpheus by C.W.Gluck, as Farnace in Mitridate re di Ponto and as Dritte Dame in Die Zauberflöte By W.A.Mozart.
Recent highlights include the debut as Suzuki in Madame Butterfly by G. Puccini as Zweite Dame in Die Zauberflöte by W.A.Mozart, and as Frau Waas/Frau Mahlzahn in Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer by E.Kats-Chernin.
Tatia performed at Tbilisi State Opera, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, ROF Rossini Opera Festival, Teatro G.Verdi di Firenze, Budapest Erkel Theater, Teatro delle Muse di Ancona, Osaka International Festival Hall, Theater Kiel. She worked with some importan conductors: Alberto Zedda, Daniel Smith, Guillaume Tourniaire, Georg Fritzsch, Oliver Von Dohnányi, Stefano Demicheli, Benjamin Reiners, Alessandro Quarta; and directors like: Alexandra Liedtke, Fabio Ceresa, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Pier Francesco Maestrini.
